Hello!

~ I live in Youngsville, NC and have been doing photography since 2019. I absolutely love being behind the camera! I enjoy capturing the essence of life, beauty, and preserving time the best way I know how. I am married and have three children and a step-daughter. Originally from Michigan, I have lived in North Carolina for approximately 25 years.


Now into some personal stuff so you can get to know me a little.


I am very introverted, grounded, and deal with PTSD to include social anxiety. I have lived some life I wish I could take back, but I also realize that I have life left that I do not want to let bypass me. Taking this leap into photography was huge for me! Doing this meant I had to make myself vulnerable, take risks, and trust completely in myself to make this work! Rising to these challenges has been completely worth it!


I have come to recognize that this is my gift in life.

I have followed Dawn's journey as she has advanced in her passion for photography over the last several years. I fell in love first with her nature shots and then as she began showing off her photography of human interactions and posed shoots, I entrusted her with our wedding photos. Dawn is an amazing photographer who is a delight to work with. She photographed my first ever boudoir photo shoot and made me feel super comfortable and beautiful. The boudoir photoshoot allowed me to get in touch with my sensual side, allowed me to feel beautiful, helped with my confidence, and allowed me to feel like a woman during a time in which I didn't feel feminie. At first, I was a little nervous for the session and didn't know what to expect. However, within the first few minutes, Dawn was able to make me feel relaxed and all my worries and nerves went out the door. Dawn has a great personality and is really passionate about photography.
